Welcome to John Lester and Eddie Colman Courts, two conveniently located accommodation options managed by Campus Living Villages in partnership with the University of Salford.
The two buildings offer three and four bedroom flats that were refurbished this year.
You can select from our 2 different accommodation options:
- Our Standard Room option described below OR
- Our Premium Room option with extra benefits also described below
All the communal areas of the buildings have been totally redesigned creating vibrant new spaces for relaxing with friends and flatmates. The spaces include a new wi-fi café area, TV and meeting rooms, a new ground floor gym and outdoor multi court. Click here for more information on the facilities.
One of our Resident Assistants will be on hand when you arrive to help you settle in and you will be invited to attend a programme of events designed to support you during your time at Salford.
Rooms
A range of three and four bedroom flats are available, designed to provide secure living and learning environments.
Standard rooms
All flats contain:

- Free, unlimited broadband access!

Premium rooms
Our Premium Rooms are located in a flat with a well equipped kitchen and bedding provided so that when you arrive all you need to buy is food!
Each room contains:
- Single bed
- Shared kitchen and bathroom facilities recently refurbished
- Mattress protector, duvet, duvet cover, base sheet, pillow, pillow case and towels
- Desk and study chair
- Free, unlimited broadband access!
Each kitchen contains:
- Microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, glasses, pans and kitchen utensils
- Electric oven, hob and grill
- Fridge freezer
- Table and chairs or breakfast bar and stools
- Ironing board, dustpan and brush, mop and bucket
- Lockable storage cupboards
Plus you will find a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar and a snack when you arrive.
Fees
Standard Rooms - £77.49 per room per week.
Premium Rooms - £84 per room per week.
The weekly rent for both options also includes:
- All utility bills
- Unlimited 24/7 broadband internet access
- IP phone connection available in each bedroom via cable installation
- Contents insurance to the value of £3500
- Free membership of the Tom Husband Leisure Centre
- On site security with regular evening security patrols
